Her name isn't Lennon, but prefers to be called that. Born in the '80s, she wishes she had been born in the '40s to be the age she is now in the '60s. Her hobbies and interests include, but are not limited to day dreaming, the internet, and sleeping. Music is like oxygen. Major fandom obsessions include the Beatles, Franz Ferdiand, Harry Potter and the Who.

She was sorted into Gryffindor for some odd reason (she's clearly a Hufflepuff), and is supposedly worth $1,265,000.00 and ranked as intelligent according to mensa-test.com.

"I'm somewhat a passionate person. When I get stuck on something, I get stuck. Sometimes I completely forget about a passion that I utterly adore. For example, my favorite anime series, Escaflowne. Sometimes I overlook it and watch other series and think how great they are. Then I watch Escaflowne again and I'm reminded once again that nothing can ever compare.

Passions don't mean I'm constantly obsessed about these certain things. They mean that whenever I fall back into them, they'll never fail to amaze me. They're kind of like "favorites," but favorites come and go. These I might lose sight of sometimes, but when I reconnect with them, I know they're number one and always will be." - Zeynep

RESCUE ME//

I started watching this show because James Woods reminds me of Denis Leary for some reason and, at the time, I was watching Woods' show Shark and then remembered that Denis Leary had his own show as well. I looked it up online and started watching the first season. I don't know how far into the season it took me to fall in love, but one thing was for sure: I was hooked.

The show falls under the category of dramedy and there are far too many reasons I could list for why I love this show as much as I do. If I had to pick one, however, I would say the incredible ensemble cast. Ranging from verteran comedians to little known actors, it's the cast that makes this show amazing. Each has a role in the show and each plays their parts to perfection so much so that I can't even pick a favorite character. Taking away any member of the core cast would instantly throw the balance off and the show would never quite recover. This has been proven in the past, but what has saved Rescue Me from a loss of a beloved cast memeber is the writing. Nothing is safe in the hands of Peter Tolan and Denis Leary - a particular favorite writing team of mine - and they push every boundary they can to the limit. Sometimes successfully, sometimes not, but there are very few writers in the televiosn world that would think of touching the topics these two use in every single episode. Whether or not it works, you got to give these two props for even going there.

Now, I watch a lot of tv and I claim many programs to be favorite shows of mine, but it's rare that I love an American television series this much. In fact, aside from the Golden Girls, all my favorite shows have originated in Britain. But even Rescue Me trumps them all. How do I know? It's one of TWO series I own in completion on DVD (though I am working on finishing the GG set). The other is the original (a.k.a UK) version of Queer As Folk.

It's true that this show is definitely not for everyone. Its controversal nature is a turn off for a lot people and for the long time followers like myself, the past few seasons haven't been as outstanding as its earlier seasons and that's a little disheartening. But even with its downfalls, it's still, I think, one of the best hours on television and it's the only reason I look forward to Tuesdays. Besides, how can you go wrong with watching a few good looking men in uniform, covered in ash and sweat, doing something heroic?
